Nutty For Nutella
Have I written an ode of my love for Nutella?!
No?
Ah, well..here goes
Nutella. Neuer. German National NT. I heart. End.
hahaha...
Today, I'm obviously on a high. This is due to an influx of Superbly fantastic amazing news and continuous playing of feel-good songs (teenage dream+king of anything+waka.waka+if it's love+waving flags+waking up in vegas+sunday morning+ california girls+hey, soul sister+if we ever meet again+looking for a good time+you make my dreams come true). Plus Nutella on a good Sunday morning!
Ah, heaven.
ON A HIGH, ON A HIGH...
Ah...my Sunday just got a whole lot better. It all began when I learned Girondins won the friendly match, then I logged in to FB to hear the Beautiful, wonderful, crazy, lovely, amazing, superb news. Which made me ultimately happy and started sending messages in ALL CAPS. Oh, bats?! You are the best! And I'm having my fingers crossed that things will follow through...
I'M SO HAPPY!!!
And I'm even happier that the reason is because I'm so happy for this other person!!! (not-boy-related)
I CAN FEEL THE LOVE!!!
I want to give out hugs and jump around!
*sigh*
Love.

ZZzzzzz...This is not the sound of a vuvuzela
And I thought that a day to myself will invigorate me.NOT. I ended up sleeping. I guess sleep debt has caught up and have now recovered my ZZZZzzzzz's.
Quoting Ballers part 2
"David is an amazing player - he has mobility, he scores goals and is brave. I would love to have him in my team at Arsenal. He'd be amazing in the English league." Spain team-mate Cesc Fabregas, June 2008.
"Leaving Madrid is not a defeat. They have treated me very bad, but I prefer not to speak, really. Inter are one of the biggest clubs in the world, for four years they have been Italian champions, and I am proud to wear the Nerazzurra jersey. This is a World Cup year and I want to go there as a protagonist." Wesley Sneijder in August 2009.
"History shows that this club has had very few strikers like him. I do not know if there has ever been anyone like him before. What I do know is that Barcelona should erect a statue for him. Samuel was a fundamental player here in recent years and was key to all of the titles that the team won." Andres Iniesta, August 2009.
"Gourcuff is a player with great talent. He's fantastic, if he continues like this, at the end of his career he will be remembered in football history, I'm sure of this." Kaka, June 2009.
"The spotlight will always be on me, but it's something I'm learning to live with as the years go by."David Beckham, April 2009.
"The reality is, when you're somewhat successful at what you do, there's always a group of people who aren't going to like you. I like to think I live my life the right way, and that's what's important. But I understand that people are passionate about soccer, and that's OK." Landon Donovan.

''When you take a lot of stick you want to ram it down people's throats.'' Frank Lampard, June 2008.
Carlos Tevez After receiving criticism for a series of low-key performances with his national team, he declared: "Sometimes I don't even want to play for Argentina."
"I have no doubts. To me, Kaka is the best player in the world, because he is the most complete player. I see him a notch above Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo," said Pelé.
"Messi is my Maradona," said Maradona himself, as the head coach of the Argentine national team.

A No-Name Slob
I'm like cat here, a no-name slob. We belong to nobody, and nobody belongs to us.
We don't even belong to each other.

To Franck Ribery...IN YOUR FACE!
I hate meanies! And this 'baller is one mean machine. Let me just state the reasons why:
(*hate him!)
blech!
- He bullied the younger team members in the France NT, esp. Yoann Gourcuff.
- He paid an underaged girl to have sex with him. Prostitution is legal in France(girls must be above a certain age), in a country where it's legal, I have no idea why he would still have sex with underaged girls!
- During his birthday, he apparently invited the underaged girl to the celebration, with his wife knowing it.
- He looks like a gargoyle.
- He has the ego the size of earth. He hates being one-upped, and he felt threatened with the young players.
- He belongs to Bayern Munich, my favorite club, which I feel is a very bad decision for whoever wanted him to transfer there.
(*hate him!)
blech!
A Dream Within A Dream
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep - while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

Bundesliga News
The Torfabrik.
Roughly translated means "Goal factory", is the name of the official ball for the Bundesliga. That's right, they are going to be getting their own official ball for all their matches. The Torfabrik will be made by Adidas (Gasp! Jabulani!). I hope this ball is not the same as the much-hated jabulani because, really, who can stand that ball!?
